Annie and I had a great Christmas and New Years home in PA with all our family and friends. Then we got ready to leave the snow and come south to Atlanta and stay a few days with Sarah, Nate & Jon and get together and say goodbye to all my wonderful friends I've made the past year and a half.
The trip down was more or less hassle free. Thankfully mom got us the best Christmas present ever, AAA! We already locked the keys in the car. At least we know the service works well. The weather was great when we arrived and we got to go for a run one day and mountain biking another.
Saturday we had a party here at the house which went really well until I had my going away cake smashed in my face. I was cleaning icing out of my ears all night. haha Seriously though, my Atlanta friends are so much fun!
Then Snow/ Ice storm came through. Highways shut down, airport closed, and I'm staying a couple extra days in Atlanta to build an igloo. The plan is now to fly out tomorrow afternoon. We'll see how that goes.
